This is a great welding helmet for anyone looking to purchase an auto-darkening helmet without breaking the bank. Perhaps I need a welding cap under it but this is the only problem I've had. The darkening factor and speed are adjustable and adjustment is easy. My only complaint is that the headgear seems to slip when I'm wearing it unless I adjust it very tight. This is the only helmet I own so I can't compare it to a more expensive model. Still, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

It's not.It works great with my little MIG set up (even though the amperage of my MIG is below the range in the chart found in the instructions). I thought the sun would set it off. This helmet has MUCH improved my work. I tried at all settings. Why is this important. Before I was living in the dark. Oh man.A great value for $40.

I have not been able to use this product since the welder that I ordered at the same time is not going to ship. The order for the welder has been cancelled and no substitute was offered so I requested that Amazon credit my account for this item and have a call tag issued so I may return it.

this helmet works great the only complaint I have is the window is very small but besides that the helmet is well worth the money
